Now back to ordinary life at the old homestead. Seems strange not to have something planned to do.
Last night suddenly Kathy suggested we should go out and catch the golden hour (sometimes called the magic hour by photographers - the hour just before the sun goes down - or comes up - when the shadows and light are the best). That was one of the things so fabulous about having Kathy here - having someone to just run out the door with. She does things like that all the time down in Florida but it takes a push to get me out of here, I feel so much more tied down. It was nice to have a taste of spur of the moment freedom.
