I went to a halloween party last night with Nancy,
kyana. First we went to Jim R's house for make up time.

after - an ugly witch
me - a movie star, darling

Then we went to the party at the Latonia in Oil City and met up with Deb,
towerbabel51 and Ron,
whiter-shade-of. I didn't get a good photo of Ron's Zorro costume (it was very good) but here is Deb and Jim - both creepy steampunks:
i love deb's so weird face make up and expression
The Latonia has a beautiful ballroom and a really neat light machine with individual dots of light that chased each other around the ceiling, meeting up every once in a while for a burst of lights. I want one for our ceiling at home. It was fun, but - there is always a but when it is a "social event" for me. I was nervous and the nerves gave me such a flare up with my pulled rib. I was thinking I was almost over it but it came back with a vengeance last night. I had a hard time sleeping last night and it's still very painful today.
But anyway - back to normal life here at the old homestead. I got a lot done with jewelry work yesterday afternoon and I hope I will have finished things to show after I give them a final polish today. Dave found a used jewelry work bench today that he'd like to get me (a bargain on craigslist). It would be nice. I use an old kitchen table now. But the professional work bench is over 8 inches higher than my work surface now - not sure I want to change my work habits after all these years. So that needs a decision.
This is it. Maybe the legs and part of the side panels could be cut off.
