I got a new "Through The Viewfinder" camera yesterday from my brother-in-law Ed - he is a collector of old cameras. It is an Ansco Rediflex with a thick glass see-though viewfinder like my first one, the Kodak Duaflex. But unlike the Duaflex this new one has a beautifully clean mirror with no stains on it at all - everything looks very bright. There is dirt (that's ok), but no stains. I really like using the TTV cameras! I think I will leave one in the car so I can be ready to take photos of things I find out in the world too - getting so tired of just photos around the house. I need to get out more!
fallen hydrangea and leaves (i did some vignetting with photoshop on all these - plus added framing)

hydrangea
patio and mums
tenzing waking
rose
compare this rose using the kodak duaflex with stained mirror - i like it too but it is different
Yesterday Dave and I drove down to Pittsburgh to pick up the ceramic molds from the woman who sold me the kiln 2 weeks ago. I don't really want the molds but I hope to sell them on craigslist. Anything we would make on the molds would be icing on the cake of getting the kiln for such a good price. We still didn't get all the molds yet though! There are so many and they are so bulky we couldn't fit them in the car (should have taken the truck - darn!). We are planning to go back again tonight to get the last of them as soon as Jill gets here. It will be our Friday date night activity.
