I have had a wonderful day so far - breakfast at Amazing Foods - my favorite place to eat. A photo of their window decor - red berries with lights inside:

Came home and worked hard on planting all the bulbs that could be planted (lilies, iris, peony) and moved some other irises and some bleeding hearts to a new spot, cleaned up old dead leaves blown over the flower beds, moved my mother mary statue to a new spot and swept everything I could. Such a beautiful, beautiful day today - sunny but not too hot. I was never a flower gardener before - this is a new thing for me - just in the last 3 years. Something about living in this house where dad used to plant his annual flowers every year and get things spiffed up made me want to try it too. It's going to be so exciting to see this stuff come up!
