future perfect
In my future perfect world, in my future perfect studio - I want THIS workbench. A fancier one would be nice but this is actually affordable. It has storage drawers, catch drawers (to catch falling precious metal filings), bench top storage, and a canvas tool storage apron on the side.
Must haves: a real workbench (right now I just use an old kitchen table), sink, enameling table, lampworking table, art and painting table, lots of shelves for storage and my many books, windows and light!, light box for photography and computer area, business area, ceramic and mosaic table, room for big kiln and electric hookup for it (I've never even been able to use it yet!), my large paper storage cabinet, a full length couch for napping, soft rug in front, with an end table and lamp (so the whole room can be dark at night and I can sit there - thinking - in a pool of light). Perfect.
{This whole reverie just came from looking in the Kingsley North catalog for mailing boxes that I need to buy - anything to escape what I "should" be doing...}
