AYOA pages on Sunday and Monday:
I have been having bad back pain lately - feels like I am stiff and can't bend, my lower back is stuck in a sharp vice. I really don't think there is anything "wrong" with my back though - just a new place for the traveling pain to settle to get my attention, as it will come and go. Instead of going to art group today I choose to stay home and sleep, lounge, watch a movie in bed. Watched the Carl Theodor Dreyer 1928 "Passion of Joan of Arc" silent film. For the music it had wonderful a cappella singing. I cried quite a bit and maybe that was healing. The rest of the day I puttered around (enjoying the twinges in my back as signs telling me I was alive) cleaning off my painting table and the new "ceramic and glass fusing" table. This is a ten second exposure using a tripod of the two CLEAN tables where I ran over to get in the picture after I pushed the shutter button:
Oh - and I finished fixing this lamp today (it has been a week long project). The white plastic lamp shade broke so I repaired it with elmer's glue and then strengthened it with layers of tissue paper. I think it is so cool how it looks totally different when it is lit - shows the polka dot under layers - looks like a toadstool. I didn't exactly plan it this way - it kind of evolved after I didn't like the polka dots:
