We had a good time at Pickers and Painters today. I'm really impressed by the coffee shop,/art gallery/arts and crafts studio where it was held in.
Fusion Atelier. If I lived near Brookville I'd definitely go there all the time. Some pictures:
The back of the room, behind where I was sitting. This was a good place for the kids and baby sitters of kids to hang out.
My little spot. I had the table pretty much to myself though Dave, Chloe and Jimmy sat here when they were eating. Dave talked the whole time to lots of people of course, Chloe was taking care of things when she wasn't painting on her painting at the front and Jimmy was one of the performers.
Chloe as she was painting on the collaborative piece. Live music in front.
Chloe and Jimmy.
The coffee shop counter and behind that it looks like they do framing too. Dave talking to Chloe's friend Anna and her husband.
The two pieces I did.
I worked on this too. Mainly I did the texture inside the tree. And used pink on those stripes at the bottom. Chloe did the rest. We were the only ones who worked on it. I'm actually glad. I like it as a daughter/mother only effort.
