We had a nice dinner last night with just the three of us (only Jules could come). We didn't bother with the fire down at the creek and we could all sit together at one table in the living room instead of using 2 tables like we do when the grandboys are here. We talked politics mainly. Thank goodness we are all on the same page. I got up early this morning - 5 am. That's pretty perfect for me. Sleeping the night through and getting up early is the way I like it. I've already got the kitchen cleaned and the dishes done from yesterday, fed the indoor animals, written in my paper journal and taken some pictures.
It just seemed like things in my nearly dark room looked beautiful to me this morning (still night). I really love my good old D5600 and 18mm to 200 lens and how it can make things look.
I ordered a mouse last week for the little laptop that Johnny gave me and it's arriving today. By coincidence this morning, when I started writing this, the mouse I use on this laptop quit working. So thank goodness I have that new one arriving today. I hate using a touchpad. I'll have to get another one for the little laptop later.
Plans for the day: drive Dave to a dental appointment in Seneca. After that I don't know what we'll do. Since we'll be out and about we should do something else.
