We got out for an early morning walk at Desoto Memorial this morning. When Kathy and Pete first moved here and I came to visit this was the first place she took me. I've always had a fond feeling for this place. Though it is the worst of all the parks around here for mosquitos. They weren't too bad today - maybe because it was still early. Lots of infrared pictures:
I like how the pathways are covered like tunnels.
We sat on the little bench area on the left side for a while and then turned around and headed back.

Laurie will be visiting this afternoon and then it'll be time to pack and get going on my trip back home. It'll be hard to say goodbye and I'm nervous about the trip. I wish it didn't involve a plane ride and Pittsburgh traffic. It'll be good to get back home and have all that over with.
My tarot card this morning was The Tower. Just about the worst card you could get before a plane trip I thought. So I added a pathway to get back to my little home inside it. I hope that helps.
