Big holiday today. Though I suppose most stores and restaurants will still be open. Roswell is working. Dave and I are taking the gate for Chloe's blueberry enclosure over today and will put it in place. The enclosure will be finished then, except for next year when Chloe will need to put a netting over the top to keep out the birds during blueberry season. The bushes will be safe from deer, rabbits, etc for now. We need to make a decision before we go to see if we'll take the dogs with us or not. If we take the dogs then we can walk in the woods with them somewhere. If we don't take them we can have a leisurely meal in a restaurant and go shopping on the way home. I want to take them but a meal out and getting the shopping done sounds pretty good. They do love their daily walks to the creek and lake and that will still be happening this evening in any case. The decision seems to be firming up for leaving them at home.
