I rearranged my piano area yesterday afternoon. Took away that stupid x style keyboard stand that was so flimsy. The keyboard was always sliding around on it. Found a folding table that works better. Much more stable and I'll be able to clean under it too. I took the keyboard stand directly to the car and put it with the boxes of stuff from the basement. Dropped all that stuff off at Gems when I picked Roswell up in the afternoon. Yay! I actually am making some progress with emptying the house of extraneous stuff.
Yesterday before group Jan and I walked the bike trail near Launch 4 at Wilhelm and found the old blue car in the woods.
Suicide doors (or nicer to call them "coach" doors).
I like those handles on the seat back. It looks like there might have been a radio console in the middle. That would be weird if that was what it really was - a second radio in the back seat? Wait! No, of course that isn't a radio - it's an ashtray. All cars had them back then and in easy reach.
Jan showed me a place at Launch 4 that I had been totally unaware of before. A nice little spot where you can get back in and get close to a raft of water lilies. I'm hoping that women's group can meet there and hang out someday in the future. There's picnic tables and benches back in there.
Today will be a free day after I drop Roswell off at work at 7. Options: go to Two Mile with Rainy. Work in the basement. Catch up with bookwork and bills. Play piano. Make a vegetable curry with Dave's garden stuff.
