One of the pansies I got this year. I never had luck with pansies before. This time I planted them with more sun so I hope they do okay.
The Dame's Rockets from 2 days ago. Withering more each day.
Last night we had dinner with Chloe at Sweet Basil's and then went to her house so Dave could help her put wire cages around her apple and chestnut trees. She had a long scratch on her arm from mowing under a big old apple tree the other day so after doing the wire cages we got to work breaking off low hanging dead branches from that tree by hand. Looked much better when we got done though it would be nice if later she could get some kind of saw or clippers in there to have smoother ends to the broken off branches.

Another sunny day today. Warmer than yesterday. Chloe gave us 6 big bags of recyclables that we want to take to Two Mile to the recycling dumpsters today. I hope the dumpsters aren't full. They very often are.
