I think it's funny. Every time Jules comes over Rainy wants his attention. He gives her a little scratch on the head but that's not enough for her and usually at some point she jumps up onto his lap if he's sitting. He doesn't pet her when she's up there. Last night she settled down and curled up on his lap for about a half hour after I took this picture. He never touched her the whole time.
I woke up at 4 am this morning. Suddenly woke up with the energy to unravel and ball up all the yarn that was on the 2 knitting looms I had been using and put the yarn away. Packed up all the sizes of knitting looms I have and books about knitting with looms and put it all into a box. It felt so freeing to just give up on that. I like crochet and pin loom weaving so much more than using a knitting loom or knitting. It was good to make a decision about that rather than keep thinking I'd want to finish those projects someday (I wouldn't) - they were just cluttering up my area.
Back to making bracelets with the lucet. I want to get better at adding beads and am working on that right now.
I am a person who needs PROJECTS. I went through a few days last week where I didn't have any handiwork that interested me and kind-of sunk into a dark place. Now that I have something waiting for me to pick up and work on I feel revitalized.
The weather has turned cold again. 28F. Though it's supposed to be sunny today. I'll at least take a walk down back with Rainy for sure.
