Sebastian's supposed to come over this morning so we can show him around the workings of the house and how to take care of the animals. I need to make up his bed and clear a space for him in our spare room. That room still has a lot of Hazel's stuff in it and I've been using it as my walk-in closet for my most used clothing.
Dave has been sick with a mysterious illness. He just doesn't feel that great. Nauseous, aches and pains, no appetite, diarrhea. He hasn't had a fever though. It started a few days ago and he's getting a little better day by day. He's been active but rests a lot. He cleared out the birdhouses one day. Another day he took the truck to have the tires changed from winter to summer tires. Last night we went shopping at Walmart for supplies. Tomorrow we're dropping off papers with our tax lady. It's been a busy week.
I usually have a crochet or other kind of craft project going all the time. I don't right now. That seems odd to me. I started 2 different knitting loom projects but they've both been abandoned. Using a knitting loom just didn't take my fancy. Anymore, instead of sitting down to do handiwork I usually go over and play a little on the piano. I can't have a piano with me on this trip so I'm thinking I should try and find something small to take along and do with my hands. I'm going to put my mind to that today.
