All is not perfect in glasses-land. I spent a couple hours yesterday doing sewing and came to find that the reading part of my glasses is set too far away to be useful for handicrafts. So I stopped at the optometrist's to talk about it on my way to my music lesson last night but I'll have to get an actual appointment to see the doctor next week before I can get it corrected.
It was a beautiful warmish day yesterday. After group at Berdella's I took Rainy for a little walk to the creek and in the woods down back. Also walked around town before my music lesson. Had time to kill so I went into Fox's Pizza Den and had an order of potato wedges. It was good. It's interesting to me to walk around town. So many new establishments in storefronts that had other things in my childhood. Fox's used to be Isaly's. Sitting there I could still envision the old set up of things. It's like waking up from a dream to a different reality. Walking around town is an exercise in memory to see if I can recall what was there when I was a kid.
Raining today. Will hopefully get some art/craft projects either finished or started.
