I think this cold must be affecting my mind. The day before yesterday I tried to bake bread with the oven off and then last night I went out to put the chickens to bed (shut their door for the night) and did everything else (collected their water bottle and shut the outer door) but didn't actually shut the door to their sleeping coop. I wondered why this morning they were so quiet and not clucking to get out. It was because the door was open and they were already out. Sinus headache. Feeling fuzzy. I think I'll go back to bed after I write this.
