Harlequin Eyes.

I got a few things done yesterday. Cut 3/4" strips of cloth to use for locker hooking and sewed them all together into a long ribbon - about 64 yards of it. I hope that will be enough to make a bag that I'm planning. After that I cleared off all the sewing stuff and put the sewing machine away and set up the table for painting. Found 6 stones to paint and put the first coat of black paint on them. I also was more diligent with my piano practice yesterday. I was kind of embarrassed for myself last time I was at my lesson. I hadn't really practiced much in the 2 weeks I was off and it showed.

We go to Grove City today so I can see the eye surgeon. I guess we will be talking about him doing my other eye in January. I'm a little concerned because I'm still waiting for my first eye to heal enough to see really well with it - I was reading that it can take a few weeks or even months before the eye becomes really good. How will I be able to see to drive while I'm waiting for both eyes to recover? Maybe I can get some questions answered.

It looks like it's going to be a dry day today, though cloudy. After the surgeon's appointment we're going to Elephant 8 in Slippery Rock for lunch. I'd like to hike at Wolf Creek Narrows if possible too. Dave has never been on the upper trail and I'd like to go there this time.
