Hello December. I feel like you have arrived too soon.
Next week I have the first cataract surgery. I was supposed to have started "Lid Hygiene" a week ago but I lost the paper that told about it somehow. Just yesterday I got another paper in the mail from the doctor that told about it so I will start immediately. Warm compresses to the eyes twice a day. Scrub the eye lids once a day every other day with baby shampoo (I'm going to do it every day so I can catch up). Use "artificial tears" eye drops every 2 to 3 hours while awake. That will keep me busy. It's all about getting rid of debris that collects in your eye lashes so there is less bacteria around that area. And I imagine so that the doctor doesn't have to look at eye lash mites when he's doing the surgery! That would be gross, even though it's very normal to have a few there. Oh my gosh - google eye lash mites and look at the pictures. I have never thought about my eyes so much as I am right now.

Here's a good thing - only 10 more days of having to stay out of the woods because of hunting season. I'm looking forward to getting back to Two Mile and other places. I hope we have some nice weather (sunny, not too cold) then.
Today, just a day of using the mini trampoline for exercise and doing indoor stuff - like cleaning my eyes.
