I made another potholder last night. This one went so much faster with less errors to correct as I went along. Getting the hang of it. So now everyone can expect a pot holder for xmas.
Last night while I was waiting for my teacher to be done with her previous student (she was young - six years old? - and needed to wait for her mom to come to take her home) I was playing around with the piano that is near the door of the store. Just making chords with my left hand and then playing the corresponding notes individually with my right hand. It does sound pretty - and like I actually am making a beautiful song. Though it is super easy to do. The little girl as she was leaving said to me, "You are really good!". Ha. That was cute. I'm not really good (I'm not even "good"), but it does attest to the beauty of the instrument itself. I told her I've been taking lessons a few years - thought that would sound encouraging.

Jan and I biked to Oil City yesterday. She on my Sunshine trike and me on Barnebey. Jan really likes the trike. It is easy on the body. I end up using the regular 2 wheeled bike Barnebey more though because Candy likes me being at her level when we ride together and because it's just easier to load. When I got home yesterday from the bike ride I left Sunshine in the back of the car and decided to go out by myself with it later. Enjoy a pain free ride for once. On the regular bike I get a lot of pain in my right arm and in my back.
Even though it was nearly 90 yesterday it didn't feel "hot". Nice breezes all the time and the clouds gave us frequent shade. We went down to explore the river on a little trail near the River Ridge gate. I'd never been to this particular spot before. It has a nice peninsula that goes out into the water.

Woke up this morning to RAIN. Thunder storm. Today my plan is to go out with Sunshine when the weather clears and see if it's better. I haven't tried it since I broke my wrist.
