Progress shot from last night. I like to work on a number of them all at one time. I can add more paint dots to one while the paint is drying on the others.

Talked to my cousin Rosie last night and she told me that her oldest son had died suddenly in April. An aortic aneurysm. He wasn't much younger than me. A really lovely person. Sad that he's not in the world anymore.

I woke up in the night and looked out the window to see if the fireflies were doing their thing in those trees again. They weren't! If they had been I would have got my tripod and camera out for a long exposure. Dave says maybe it's too cold. Our heat wave is over for now.

A very busy day today. I need to stop at the store on the way to Chloe's to get stuff for Rossy's birthday party tomorrow. When I get to Chloe's I can put the ice cream in her freezer. Then Chloe and I are going to Pittsburgh to Kiyomi's art showing. Driving to Pittsburgh and through Pittsburgh is a big stressful deal to me. I am not a high speed city driver at all. But I'm sure we'll get 'er done. Once there and parked it'll be great.
