Here's a few pictures taken at the airport yesterday. Sebby getting ready for take off and then the plane in the air:

They spend a lot of time checking over the plane before takeoff. Sebby is looking at something under the wing.

As they taxied past me. Sebby on the far side and the instructor on his right.

Airborne.

That's got to be a thrill - getting clear of the treetops.

Yay! Flying through the sky.

On the way home we stopped at the Thai restaurant in Slippery Rock. That is becoming the thing to do after flight lessons. Was tired when I got home, naptime - then a final polish to my piano songs and I went to my music lesson.

Here's a window I frequently pass on my way from the parking lot to Porch Music. Melting blinds.

I got some compliments on how I did on the "Beauty and the Beast" song. That felt good. I'm even able to sing along as I play it (slowly) and a little haltingly. But it's happening! I told Elizabeth my teacher that that is my goal with piano - to be able to play something and sing along with it. My voice isn't that great but the piano has the right notes at least. It's much more fun for me to have the words too. On the way out I talked to the owner of the store and we were talking about enthusiasm. It's not about how "good" you are - it's about how much you enjoy it. That's her motto. So there you go.

Rainy on the piano bench with me while I practice.
