* Peanut butter spread on a flour tortilla and wrapped around a banana = breakfast delish.
Spent a lot of my day yesterday crocheting the pin loom squares together for Sebby's blanket. I still have a long way to go.
* I made "Schrooben" Portobello mushroom Reuben sandwiches yesterday for me and Dave. I'm getting the hang of how to make them now. Dave sautéed the mushrooms for me first and I finished them off. I'm thinking now if I just had a panini maker or sandwich grill how easy this could be.
I know it's out of focus but I still like it. Skye in her spot over Dave's head.
*I also started making cold brew coffee yesterday morning. Nancy was telling me about it on Friday and I wanted to try my own version. The DIY directions were something I read on the internet but I didn't save them and did it from memory instead. Big mess when I tried to get it out of my mason jar and get it filtered into the carafe. I don't even know if I did it right. I'll taste it later today. Maybe I'll try to get more educated about what to do with the concentrated coffee liquid before I do...
Plans for today: hike with Rainy at Two Mile (chilly and cloudy but dry), more crochet joining of the blanket, piano practice and try out cold brew.
