Nancy drove us down to Steubenville to visit Kenyon yesterday. Some pictures:
Kenyon, in classic Kenyon pose. He's ageless.
Nancy by the window. Kenyon lives on the 5th floor and I went out on the balcony a few times, each time thinking about how similar that would be to the living on the 4th floor and how far
susandennis's cat Biggie fell.
The cup that Kenyon chose to represent me for the day.
Artsy lensbaby confusion picture of a dying houseplant - with some life still left in it.
It was a 2 hour drive to get there. Raining, drizzle on the trip down. I was glad Nancy was driving and not me. I get too tired when I drive. The autumn leaf color is finally picking up. We saw some beautiful trees.

I started to watch "Maid". It resonates a little too much with my struggles when I was in my 20's and living with my first husband. It's hard to watch but I think I will continue. Just imagining that it's got to get better for her. Don't things always get better?
