Today Jan and I biked to Emlenton from the Rockland tunnel. Ate lunch at the Little IT Deli. I've been wanting to take her on that part of the Allegheny River Trail for a long time and today was a perfect biking day. Warm, but not hot, and sunny. It's 13 miles round trip.

The south entrance to the Rockland tunnel. The tunnel is a half mile long and has a curve so it's pretty dark in there. This end has lots of water drips overhead so you may as well accept that you're going to get wet. Someday I'd like to come in the winter and see the icicles. Somewhere, once I saw a photo of this end of the tunnel with icicles from top to bottom. It was awesome.
Leaves are starting to fall from the trees. A few times today a breeze came up and it looked like it was snowing leaves everywhere. So pretty.
