Chia seeds - end of first day. Since I leave the chickens in their run till the late afternoon I like to give then little treats and special vegetables all during the day to make things interesting for them. I have a lot of chia seeds for making smoothies and I got the idea to grow some chia seed sprouts yesterday. Then I got the idea to get a sprouter and grow all different kinds of sprouts for us too. I've never done that before. It should be interesting. A good chance to practice my macro photo skills too.

Candy and I are going to the outlets today to see if I can find a fancy top to go with my flowy black pants to wear to Johnny's wedding. I'm not exactly sure what I will be looking for though I'm thinking something with 3/4 sleeves would be nice in an autumn color with some glitzy accents.

My mini trampoline arrived! It has a handle bar that you can hold onto for balance. At first I didn't put the bar on and I could only do simple kinds of walking and bouncing on it (my balance isn't that good anymore) but after I put the bar on I could do lots more fancy footwork. Cool! I'm thinking it'll live in the living room for now and go to the back porch on days when we need more room if company comes. Skye likes to be under it (when I'm not using it). The perfect hiding place for her.

My teacher surprised me last night in passing one of my songs so I can move on. I didn't think I did it that good. I don't really like the song that much so I wasn't going to argue with her. It's a bluesy song with many sharps and flats and an uneven rhythm - difficult (for me anyway). "Good People" - if you know it? I'm glad to move onto to something else. Still working on "Finlandia" and "Tomorrow". Moving on from "Good People" made me happy though.
