We went to the Clarion River yesterday afternoon - Dave, Sebby, me and the dogs in our car - and met Johnny, Alison, Spoony Gee (a nickname for one of Dave's nieces), her son Carver, and Dave's brother Bob and his dog Gooster. Had a good time sitting around the fire talking. I brought my new tongue drum and played it for a bit. Left there and we all had dinner at the Cousin Basil's restaurant. Sebby and I sat across from Bob and Dave. They are entertaining together. When we got home I just had enough energy to put the chickens to bed and go to bed myself.

Took some pictures in the front and back yard this morning with the 18 to 55mm zoom lens and the 20mm macro extender tube. Pictures:

Clematis bud.

Found a bug.

Sedum.

Poke berries.

Poke flowers.

Ironweed bud.

Gazing ball.

And more pictures from the Franklin Cemetery yesterday morning:

Rarely used steps.

Uncle John and Aunt Doris. I imagine cousin Pat planted those flowers.

I thought I had seen all the good angels but noticed this one.

I like stumps.

Buzzards.

Today I think we will be having a get together here. Not sure what time or what we will be eating. I guess that will be revealed better after we talk to the rest of the family.
