Sitting in the dark this morning waiting for the light.
Did some playing around with the gelli printing block yesterday. Didn't really succeed in getting a good clean print but I learned some things about it.
Even these "failures" could be interesting as backgrounds.
We got a set of 5 new house phones and I got them at least all plugged in yesterday so they could charge. I haven't hooked them up to get calls yet though. Kind of leery of setting up the new system. After reading the booklet I told Dave that instead of making each new thing more elaborate with options they should make an old people's phone system with less options. We grew up with rotary dial phones - how simple was that? Truly plug and play. These phones need to be all set up with the date and time (I think I can figure that out) but then a bunch of other things I don't understand. Oh well. That will be today's chore. I got the taxes all paid yesterday so today my other to-do will be to finish the business book work.
Our world is so wet right now. The outside doors are all jammed and swollen. The mosquitoes are terrible. Thank goodness for the AC unit in the kitchen - at least the house can be dry. I'm planning to get a walk in at the Franklin Cemetery this morning. Maybe the bugs won't be that bad up there.
