Closeup deer skull hung in a tree in the yard. I got a new (to me) lens yesterday. A used 24mm prime. On my camera (D5600) it is manual focus. I'm not sure yet how much I like it. I miss auto focus. Though I always use manual focus on the lensbabys and I don't mind it there.
Another beautiful summer day. Going to be hot and dry again. Though no hikes at Two mile for me today. I need to take Rossy to an appointment. I took down the last of the bird feeders this morning and I'm soaking them in bleach before I put them away for the season. They are telling us to stop feeding the birds because of a mysterious contagious disease the birds are getting. They don't want the birds congregating at feeders till they figure out what it is. Nothing much else of importance today except for piano practice, weaving squares and dabbling in artsy collage stuff...
