Good morning. Mother's Day today. Thank you Mom. I was happy to mother my own 3. Especially when they were little and I could share the wonders of the world with them. Though I must admit I could get easily frustrated with little kids. If I knew then what I know now - how fast it all goes - maybe I would have been more patient.
The business has really picked up at the hummingbird and orioles' feeders. I have a suet feeder out front too and that is busy with woodpeckers and many others (starlings, chickadees). There's something going on out there nearly constantly. A grackle just now took the last piece of suet so I need to put out a new cake.
Still cold (38F) and it's expected to rain most all the day. Blaa. My plans: I might go to the mall and walk indoors just for some exercise. And get my Walmart shopping (animal supplies) done too while I'm out there. And piano practice and crochet, as usual.
