thursday - goodbye 2020

The question:
31 Do you prefer beginnings or endings?
A hundred times more so do I prefer beginnings. That's why I'm always writing about my plans for the day on here. Plans are beginnings. I don't always follow through. Actually only about a half the time do I follow through but at least I'm looking forward to something. One exception to that is that I'm glad we are ending these "366 questions of 2020". I'm tired of them. When 2020 came I was excited for the new year. I liked the number - 20 20. Sounded good. Thought it would be a good year. It was a good year in one way. We voted Trump out. Every day I hear less and less about him and that's good. I'm ready for the government to run without having to be afraid of what stupid or cruel thing he's going to do next or inspire next.

Last year at this time I was all into making felted wool purses. My mind was full of it. This year my mind is full of weaving. There must be something about this time of year (winter) that makes me desperately want to learn a new craft. Something to fill my octopus mind - gather new materials, and ways to learn about it.

Plans for today? I really would like to get out to Two Mile sometime soon but I might lose impetus. It's a cold and overcast day today. It might be better to just take a walk down back and then stay in to weave.
