The question:
26 It’s Thank You Note Day/Boxing Day. Do you write hand-written thank-you notes or do you thank people for gifts in some other way?
I usually make a point of thanking people in some way - either by voice when I get it in person, or by note, phone, by email or by text. It's good form to acknowledge that you have received something.
It's cold this morning. The person who opens the door for OA has decided it's too cold (11F) to go out so we are having a conference call meeting. That's good. I have a heater in the chicken coop that comes on when it gets below 20F and I imagine it came on last night. It makes me feel good that they are getting some warmth. A happy chicken is a quiet chicken and they are quiet this morning. Dave gave me a gift of a fleece zip up jacket and I really like it. Very cozy today. It might become my favorite thing to replace wearing a hoodie all the time.
So, staying home today. We have about 6 inches of fresh snow on the ground. Planning to get down back and collect the SD cards from the trail cams. I can at least do that. See what the deer have been up to. So far it appears that there are 4 regular deer that pass through down there. Three does and one young buck with short antlers.
