The question:
24 Do you establish routines in your life? For example, do you usually sleep in the same place in your bed? eat meals at the same time? regularly return to the same vacation spot?
I find comfort in having my spot in the living room, Dave and I have sides to the bed, but that only makes sense so that we can have our things so we can reach them. I do like to have a routine. I like to get up early before anyone else. Rainy makes sure of that. She seems to have an alarm clock in her that tells her to come in and wake me at 5:30. After I'm up she just goes back to sleep on the couch. I do better with a routine.

Andy has a routine too. He likes to sit in this spot and watch the lower yard. We know that there are deer that like to pass through down there. Also he can hear the dogs that live on the other side of the creek better from here and he can bark back at them.

This frosty morning - Andy's kingdom that he surveys.

I am planning to move the heater from the little coop into the big coop today. All the chickens except for Little Comfort seem to prefer the little coop. She is all alone in the big coop. Peanut Butter has moved into the little coop too with all the young chickens. They probably keep each other warm, all the bodies packed in there together on cold nights. But LC is just one lone chicken. Seven chickens in the little coop and one in the big coop every night.

I cut my hair last night. I was going to let it grow and grow - see how long it could get in this year of the pandemic. But it was already too long. Seemed like it was getting caught on things all the time. I was pulling out more hair when I brushed it just cause it was so long and easily tangled. I certainly don't need to have less hairs on my head. Having them longer doesn't really help much.

Just my usual length of hair again. I should have taken a "before" picture last night - why didn't I? You'll just have to believe me that I cut 6 inches off.

Walking with Jan today at Wilhelm.
