Rainy and I did get a hike in at Two Mile this morning. Lovely. One part of a trail I haven't been on yet. Plus I saw another trail that is new to me to hike in the future.

Rainy photobombing a pic of a big orange mushroom. I did take another without her but I liked it better with her in it. Cause I was bending over she needed to investigate what I was doing.

An overlook view of the valley and lake below.

A screenshot of the map showing where I hiked. I put in an arrow to show where I was when I took the previous picture.

A couple women came by on horses. Rainy was doing well and was going to stand quietly with me as they approached but one horse got scared of either me or Rainy. I don't know. The horse balked and the woman was getting angry at it, hitting it with the reins. Which I thought was dumb. I picked up Rainy and held her in my arms and backed up farther into the woods beside the trail. I could see immediately the horse was relieved that we would be farther away and it started to move ahead then. Or maybe it could see what I was better after I moved, or by picking up Rainy it became easier to see what we were. I'm no horse rider but I felt like she should have honored her horse's instincts to figure things a bit longer before she started to whip at it.
