Today's small brown egg, and a green egg, in addition to yesterday's green egg and the white eggs from the older Speckled Sussex chicken, Little Comfort.

I was a little bored this morning while we were sitting around as Johnny was trying to figure out how to get my laptop to print in color so I was strumming on my ukulele. Alison mentioned how she would like to do something with music for her children's class at the library where she works. I told her how easy ukulele is and showed her 3 simple chords to strum. She picked it up very fast. So I ended up giving her my original soprano ukulele with the case and my first music lesson book to get her started. That felt good to find it a new home. I never use that ukulele anymore. I have a feeling she is going to progress much faster than I ever did and that is great!
Johnny and Alison are gone now. Excitement is over. Back to life as it was.
