The question:
18 When you eat out alone, where do you like to go?
Probably just a fast food place, a place where people wouldn't know me. A place where I could just people-watch others. Or I'd pick up a personal pizza and take it to a place like Two Mile where I could park and eat it while looking at scenery, the lake.

I took A LOT of pictures yesterday. Dave wanted me to bring a better camera than my phone so I brought the Lumix. I haven't used that in a while. Pictures:

We stopped at a place along the way with an old rail road bed to walk the dogs. It's a long drive over to the Fred Woods Trail.

I think this is Saint John's Wort.

On the way to the Fred Woods Trail we visited a place called Bucktail Overlook. They also call it Top of the World.

Map.

Log bridge through a mud pit.

Lots of ferns. Near this spot there was a very sweet smell. Like balsam. We couldn't figure out where the smell came from. Kept plucking leaves from different things to see if we could find the smell.

Info. The distance is supposed to say 4.5 mile loop. That's not counting the distance to get to the loop from the parking area though.

Noble Andy.

Rock city.

Interesting tree.

More rocks like houses.

Streets between the rocks.

This one had a hole under it with water.

Tree growing out of the side of the wall.

Crawling up the side.

Very narrow alley.

Thinking about how this could fall on our heads.

Heather and Kyle 09.

Shaw. 1935. Looks like he was working for the CCC when he carved this.

A star even.

Fancy letters.

Ed and a face.

Water Plug Vista.

Andy and Rainy taking a look.

Dave climbed up to take a look. I didn't feel like I could do that.

Water Plug Hollow.

Zoomed in view - a long way down.

Noble Andy in his favorite pose.

This is called the Huckleberry Vista.

Overlooking another valley. While we were here we heard a train way down below.

The last part of the trail was mainly like this - all rocks. Hard traveling. It was getting to be mid afternoon and hot by then. I was glad to get back to the car. I wouldn't mind going back (it was really beautiful and I do love rocks) but next time I'd want to go either early in the morning or go on a cooler day.
