This was me first thing this morning - I couldn't find my glasses so I had to wear a pair of dad's big, old reading glasses:
I pretty much finished getting my enameling and metal working studio together today! Yeah!
That wall behind the yellow mapp gas torches is not a wall - it is a window with light mauve blinds that are closed right now. In the daytime I will have lots of north east light coming in. The white table on the left side is my enameling table - it is bare right now because I have all my enameling stuff packed up to take to the Transit Gallery Jewelry Show tomorrow to do my demo there. The wooden table on the far right is my silver working bench and the middle table is for torch firing enamel and soldering metal - it is one of those old white metal/enamel topped kitchen tables which makes it perfect for that.
I'll take some better pictures later in the daylight.
I have a few more finishing touches to go. I want to put some shelves on the right hand wall above those box shelves. And I need to figure out where to put my flex shaft and the polishing stuff. It is kind of dirty and I want it far away from the enameling area. I really want to get a filtering box to put behind it to catch the dust - it wasn't too bad before in the basement next door - but over here I want to keep the area cleaner.

Oh my, does my back hurt...too much stress.
This is the first night that the grandkids are going to sleep here on the weekend. Jules has officially moved in here today with them. It has been a long day with lots of moving and toting and lifting.
Wish me luck tomorrow at the jewelry show. I dread all craft shows and dread this one on principle. I won't have a helper so I will have to carry everything myself, do the demo and watch over customers too. Oh well - I turn it all over to you, god, and trust it will be ok, and if it's not ok, it's still ok.
