I have had a few photos on 500px for years now and have never sold one. I just did tonight - made 4 cents! Maybe I should put some more photos on there. I might make a dollar someday. Here's the photo:
I took this picture the year we all (Pete, Kathy, Dave and I rented an airbnb in the Great Smoky Mountains. Dave and I walked to the top of Clingmans Dome. Near the top of the dome there is a place where you can get on the Appalachian Trail. I thought that was so neat - after reading so many books about the AT here I was actually able to walk on it. I didn't take a very good camera on that trip and I borrowed Kathy's earthmother45"s DSLR and took lots of pictures with it of the mountain top and while on the AT. We walked only about a mile and then came back by way of a connector trail. I loved it!
