I got some good news about Lori yesterday afternoon. She was awake and talking a little - even laughed at one of her brother-in-law's jokes.

Today Jules and I are having lunch together. Hopefully the beginning of us having lunch together every Friday. Even though he lives next door I barely see him and we usually don't get much of a chance to talk so I have high hopes that we will have mother/son bonding time.

Yesterday after our lunch Nancy and I went on the hunt for CBD oil. I have been hearing good things about it and wanted to give it a try. There is a gift shop (Boutique Malo) downtown that carries it. I took a dose after I got home and then in the evening Hazel and I went to the mall to "mall walk" for exercise. I got very giggly at one point but I'm not sure if that was the lifting of my anxiety from the CBD or my usual laughter that I have when I am with Hazel. We have a lighthearted relationship that I love. We cruised the mall one time inside and then went outside and walked around the outside to make a 2 mile walk of it. It was cold outside but not unbearable. Then we went to Bob Evan's to dinner to eat up (fill up) the calories we had just burned in our walk. I got a toasted cheese sandwich with mustard and a fruit cup. It was good. Another good meal at Bob Evan's. For many years I would never go there - thought their food was bland but I'm giving them a try again.

On the subject of mall walking. I would much rather walk at the mall in bad weather than at the YMCA's indoor track. Colorful, interesting things to see that are frequently changing, all kinds of people (not just health nuts), an easy bathroom that doesn't require a locker room pass, and there could be some shopping. There is even a Chinese food stand there I like. Hazel and I saw some other mall walkers last night. I guess the thing is to go counter clockwise. We saw a lot of fast people going that way without jackets on. They must leave their coats in their cars.

Nancy told me yesterday that she went to see A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood and really liked it. Now I want to see it. Soon Dave's buck hunting season will be over and I'm making a plan to go see it with him then.
