The autumn maple leaves looked really great today. This morning Dave and I went to Berdella's house so Dave could talk to her husband Don about some things Don wanted to give him. Afterwards we drove to Meadville and met Hazel for lunch at Applebees. Came home from that and I took a nap in the goatshed. When I got up from my nap Hazel and I went to walk the dogs on her favorite bike trail - the one with the straight tunnel on East Sandy Creek. Pics of autumn leaves and bike trail tunnels:
Goatshed.
Maple tree in our side yard.
Front patio.
A new graffiti work in the tunnel.
A picture Hazel took of me.
On the bridge on the far side of the tunnel. Andy has to wear his leash around his tummy so he won't pull hard. It really helps. We saw a deer walking towards us on the trail. At first it was so far away we couldn't tell what it was - was it a dog or coyote? Then it started to run towards us and we could tell it was a deer. I don't think it knew what we were either. When it got closer Andy started to bark and pull on his leash and the deer ran away.
Rainy always gets scared in the tunnel and I have to carry her. This time Andy got the idea to be scared too and was whimpering and whining. So Hazel decided to carry him too. Silly. He liked it though. I thought it was neat how Andy's eye glowed in the camera flash.
