Today is Dave's "eye poke" day in Meadville. We might have lunch before hand. I will shop while he is in the clinic and probably play my ukulele in the car to finish off my wait. It takes at least 2 hours for him to get the injection cause there is so much to do to prepare his eyes before they do the injection. I really like having a ukulele in the car all the time now. I get a lot of practice done while waiting for people or things.
I haven't chosen a new laptop yet but I'm getting close. I think I will do online chat with Dell today and ask some more questions before I commit to one. I have a list of things I want the new laptop to have and besides being faster and more powerful I want a backlit keyboard. I type away here in my darkened studio during the early morning hours many times and it would be nice to have that. All the gaming type computers have that. Thinking about how useful that would be right now. The letters on my old laptop have the letters nearly worn off the keys and in the dark I can hardly see them anyway. I woke up at 5:30 today.
I'm eating left over potato salad for breakfast at the moment.
Soon summer vacation will be over and it will be back to making a breakfast for Rossy before he goes to school at 7 am. Sebby will be gone to college so it'll just be the one breakfast to make this year. I like having the kids come over for breakfast before school but I have to say I enjoy summer when I don't have to do it too.
I can hear the chickens on the baby monitor. Cooing, purring, keening. Getting louder all the time. Time to let them out of their coop...
