after midnight
Candy and I ending up hiking today. Thinking it might rain and hiking in the rain would be better than biking in the rain. But it didn't rain. We walked the Deer Run trail at Erie Wildlife Refuge. I wore hiking sandals. So many places were mud pits and I had to squish through and get my feet wet and muddy. It was good though and I was very pleased that I am finally walking again on my knee. I feel like I could have gone farther than the 2.5 miles we did go. I hope I will be able to walk the 4 and 5 miles I was able to do before this happened.
But maybe there was a price to be paid. I can't sleep tonight. Tossing and turning, restless legs. I finally gave up and came out to take 2 tylenol and drink a bit of brandy.
We have been watching Masterpiece Mystery: Unforgotten. Which I find really good. Many substories intertwined.
It had been raining hard. The kind of rain that should help you to sleep when you hear it on the roof. All of a sudden it stopped and the mood changed slightly. Silence. Sitting here listening to tinnitus.
