Happy Summer Solstice. And Happy Anniversary to Dave and me. 33 years. My niece Tracy just now reminded me that I have now been married to Dave for exactly half my life. We are planning to do something together later. Not sure what but at least we are thinking of it which is better than other years where we didn't think of it and nothing happened at all. My knee is getting better and better each day - maybe we could go on a walk.
Yesterday as a birthday gift to myself I ordered a new ukulele. A "moonshine" (white translucent) tenor Outdoor uke. I wanted something I could just leave in the car, no matter the temperature and Outdoor Ukuleles are excellent for that. So many times I am sitting in the car waiting for people and I end up looking at my phone to pass the time. Playing a uke would be so much better. Also I wanted to try a tenor sized ukulele. My first one was a soprano, then I got a concert sized one (bigger) and liked that a lot. Maybe I will like the larger tenor sized one even better.
It's waterproof, obviously, from this photo (not my photo) - I like that about it too.
I see from weather reports that we will finally have a couple days of dry weather - yay! I might even finish painting The Barn.
Tomorrow is Roswell's 15th birthday and Sunday we are going to have a birthday party. One thing I need to do - clean this house in preparation for people to be here!
