Just puttered around the house today, doing this and that with Johnny and Alison. Ali and I made soap in the morning. I made mainly soaps in a heart-shaped mold that Alison brought and she used my flower shaped molds.
Alison's favorite soap. She really made the most of the flower mold I thought.
All the soaps we made today.
My favorite soap. I love the way the ferns embedded so nicely.
For lunch Dave fried up a walleye that he caught Wednesday on probably his last day of ice fishing up in Chautauqua. Alison and Johnny made mushroom cream pasta and I made shrimp cocktail. After lunch we played a game that they brought called Blokus. I usually don't like many games but I liked this one. Maybe cause it is more about spatial reasoning and doesn't seem terribly competitive. Afterwards Dave and Johnny went to town to a butcher shop and Alison and I stayed home and played another game that she brought. I couldn't get into it as much (it was called Love Letter). Then she helped me sort quarters into my States and National Park folders. Ali is taking a rest right now and Johnny is in the basement helping Dave. Later they are meeting friends in town for dinner.
Johnny and Alison.

And then this picture because I just now looked over and this is what I saw:
