new toy
Chloe gave me an essential oil diffuser last night and I have really been enjoying seeing it change colors and blow its little stream of mist out the top. Delightful. I already had a few essential oils. I'm using lemon grass right now but I ordered an assortment of 14 scents for the future. Smelling (good) smells is one of my favorite things to do. I love burning scented candles indoors and incense outside.
Nancy and I had lunch at the Foxburg Grill today. It was really neat driving over and seeing the foggy, misty scenery on the way. The restaurant is right on the Allegheny River and we could see a few big chunks of ice floating by from where we sat. Though, even as we watched you could notice the snow melting on the lawns of the houses across the river and being less and less. Such warm weather we are having.
Not that great of a picture - just taken through the window of the restaurant (too many reflections) - but you can see an ice chunk floating on the river and the fog.
Dave is cooking the last of the fish he caught for dinner tonight from when he was ice fishing. This will be the end of the walleyes for us.
It's raining pretty hard right now. I wish it would rain really hard and wash the dog poop away in the back yard - that would be nice. I tried to pick some up the other day but its just a soft mess.
