more - my day
I got the package ready to go first thing tomorrow morning so I have more time to write now.
I had a ukulele lesson lined up for this afternoon but when I got there Ashley, the teacher, didn't show up. When it was nearly time for the lesson to be over the store manager thought to check her phone for messages and found out that the teacher had called in sick. So tomorrow I will have both a uke lesson (if Ashley feels good enough) and a piano lesson with Beth. I hope all that learning won't be too intense. I feel kind of drained after even one lesson - trying to take in a lot of information all at once.
Tonight I went with Hazel while she got her oil changed and then we went over to the Chinese restaurant and I had my favorite - bean curd, broccoli and cashews in garlic sauce.
Dave went ice fishing today, probably for the last time this year. The ice is melting on the lakes fast - it's been so warm. I just wore a sweater today with a windbreaker over it and that was good enough. I need to get out there and clean up the dog poop in the back yard soon. The snow is nearly melted down to the ground and it's a mess.
