Wow, wow, wow! At first glance I thought you did some kind of treatment to the picture, but I know how the different light during the day can change glass. You must have caught the sun directly on the glass at a certain angle for it to look this way. I always used to tell my customers their windows would change in the different lights of the day. That window has to be at least 20+ years old. On a visit, I took a picture of mom's plaster face on your counter that had the rainbow light from the bevels of that window falling across it.
With the temps that bitter low, I hope the chickens stay warm enough and not suffer or feel cold. I have been in that cold of weather before and remember how it affects your nose hairs and eye balls, etc., but that was when I was a lot younger. Down here we are warming up from the 50s to close to 80 by the weekend. Wish I could send some of that warmth up to you.
I did not do any treatment to that photo. It’s just as it came out of the camera. Though I did take a few different photos of it this morning - this was the best.
I wish I had an indoor place for the chickens where I could heat the whole room. At least they are out of the wind and have a heater in one part of their coop. Then you think of all the wild animals out there with no protection at all - they sure are amazing.
