A new year! I will turn 66 this year. I don't make resolutions but I do have plans for this year. Learn piano, learn ukulele, clear a workspace and make that mosaic back splash for Chloe. That's enough plans for now. Though I would like to get new glasses and then maybe I would be more willing to do jewelry work. My heart has gone out of the jewelry but when I sit down at my workbench I do find enjoyment. And it is a source of income - that's always a good thing.
I'm pleased with starting a new Everything Book on this day. If the last one was for healing then this new one will be for ... (what)? Maybe this will be for a time of joy and experiencing joy.
Covers, back and front. Number 12.
First pages. The way I like to do it - leaving a place to make a drawing in the middle of one page.
Dave and I have been invited to a party at Deb's in the afternoon. I will take my usual - yogurt pineapple pudding.
The rain has let up. Yesterday we had quite a downpour and last night the wind was very gusty. This morning I saw that a ladder had slid off the side of the shed and was resting on the chicken coop. I bet that gave the chickens a scare in the middle of the night when it hit. I can tell in the morning where the chickens have slept the night before from where their poo is. No one slept in the spot of the ladder fall and that is usually one of their favorite spots to sleep.
