time to take a break and let the paint dry
I've been busy yesterday and today painting what will be a small chicken coop for Dot and another chicken (probably Peanut Butter - another chicken who is low in the pecking order). The manufacturer recommends painting it before you put it together (cause it would be impossible to get inside it to paint it after it is assembled). It will be about half the size of the other coop, which really was too small for 6 chickens. So there will be 4 chickens in the bigger coop and 2 in the new little one. It is cold out and not that much fun to be painting but I want to get it done and get on with this. Getting tired of having Dot in the bathroom and as soon as she is healed enough I want to get her outside - pronto. I don't want to have to wait any longer while we get a coop ready for her. It think it is going to look pretty cute when it's done and beside the other coop.

I hope I can get back into a normal sleeping schedule. It's been terrible lately. Yesterday morning I was up at 3 am and stayed up all day. I was exhausted and hurting from being on my feet all day painting so I went to bed at 8 last night. Then this morning I woke up at 4. I hope I can stay up past 8 tonight.
