Nothing too exciting. Dave and I went shopping this morning. Looking over options at Home Depot for materials to make a fence for the dog (s). When we get Rainy I really want to have a fence so we can let both dogs out at the same. It is not going to work to tie them in separate places when they need to go potty. I have always wanted a fence for dogs, after all these years of having dogs and we are finally getting one. Happy about that. We ate at the Chinese buffet - as usual. Andy waited in the car like a good boy. Actually he was barking when we returned to the car. There was an ambulance siren and he always barks at that. Another dog in the parking lot was barking too. After I got home from that Hazel wanted to go shopping at Walmart and we picked up David Z. Stocked up on supplies for the week. I am so disgusted sometimes that the only major store we have anymore around here is Walmart. All the other department stores are gone. You can see that Walmart is getting all the business of the area now - the parking lot is so full - 3 or 4 times as many cars in it as there used to be. I bought a new Garmin GPS for the car. After I got home I spent the rest of the day downloading info into it. So there you go - just a dumb old day of shopping and sitting at the computer trying to get things to work.
Anything else?
*The weather has really cooled off. I wore a sweater all day.
*Practiced Shenandoah a bit more.
*David Z's dog Halley is not doing very well. She is 14, going on 15. Can only walk a couple feet at a time and then she collapses. I'm going to drive him to the vet with her tomorrow.
*Hazel is going to watch the animals for me next week while I'm on vacation. I wrote up a chart for her today of how to care for them. That always surprises me when I see how many things I need to remember each day - the routine. But that is what I like - I basically like puttering at little things all day. Multitasking. Probably why I liked being a caregiver.
