monday - some stuff
I'm using my brother-in-law Pete's laptop right now trying to figure out how to get him a driver for the printer. So I thought while on here I would post a little update.
The flight was good. I sat beside a couple of people going to Florida on vacation - they were friendly and smiley (like me) but didn't want to talk so that was perfect. There was a lot of turbulence (storms and rain below) and that kept me occupied staying upright in my seat. I wasn't worried - just excited by it. Kathy and my niece Laurie picked me up at the Tampa airport. On the way home we ate at a nice seafood place. Last night Kathy and I stayed up late (for me) till about 11 talking and laughing. I practiced my flute a bit and at one point laughed into it and a super shrill note came out which hurt Kathy's ears - she screamed. Sorry, that made me laugh even more.
Today we ate at a Thai place. I love Thai food. We both had green curry with tofu. The restaurant had such neat decorations and so many golden statues, tablecloths and wall decorations. A delight to the eye. Then we went to the movies and saw Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri. Excellent movie. I can't wait till netfix gets it on disc and I can watch it again at home with Dave.

I'm going to take a break from the laptop now. I think I got the drivers loaded but I will need to restart it. Perhaps later I will find a way to download some photos I took today. We went to a favorite place of Kathy's after the movie - a tree with an bald eagle's nest and 2 baby eaglets.
